E-Link Gateway Controller 1000

E-Link Gateway Controller 1000

Enterprise Gateway and CAPWAP based Controller for Wireless Access Points

Overview

EION E-Link Gateway Controller 1000 is a Gigabit Enterprise Gateway Router for any network and remotely manages multiple Wireless Access Points including E-Link Outdoor and Indoor APs, while maintaining network stability in an economic way. It supports load balancing, Ethernet backup and Ethernet superimposed, multi-ISP access; DHCP, policy routing and VPN, together with smart flow control, abundant security, varied user management and multiple authentication functions. It is consistent to provide high efficiency and professional network connectivity for hotels, schools, hospitals, shopping malls, airports. It provides complete cost- effective, reliable, and convenient wireless coverage solutions.

Multiple Gigabit WAN and routing functions

  • Supports multiple Gigabit WAN and multiple routing functions like PPPoE/DHCP/Static IP access.
  • Supports WAN Port VLAN, VPN dial up, DNS Proxy, IP address translation, user behavior management, which makes it a powerful performer in enterprise networks.
  • Works with different ISPs
  • Supports up to 1024 end users.

AC Management

  • Supports both group and individual AP configurations.
  • Auto detects wireless APs, centrally manages SSID passwords, modes, channels, RF power and coverage thresholds of the APs.
  • It can also reboot, reset or upgrade firmware remotely, with additional maintenance functionalities.
  • Has a built-in DHCP Server and can assign IP addresses for wireless APs automatically when the AP is online.
  • Supports user management and password protection.
  • Users of different levels can be assigned with different permission credentials.

QOS and User Management

  • E-Link Gateway Controller 1000 supports smart QoS based on ports, individual users, user groups and user applications.
  • Allows bandwidth reservation and dispatch by tunnel or by application.
  • Different service profiles can be defined for different users and applications.
  • This is accomplished through multiple queuing mechanisms like priority queuing, low latency queuing, custom queuing, weighted queuing, congestion avoidance, traffic policing, traffic shaping and priority marking.

Security Mechanism

  • Has abundant security mechanisms including TCP/UDP/ICMP Flooding, IP/MAC/URL/Web/filtering functions, Ping of Death and other related threats.
  • It extends protection to every port of the router and enables ports to provide DoS/DDoS attack protection, traffic monitoring, Uniform Resource Locator (URL) filtering, and application layer filtering.

Protocol

  • IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab
