High Accuracy Clocking
Clocking and clock-recovery is a critical element to TDM network performance. The Tidal 500 offers a range of clock recovery algorithms and oscillator options that tune timing so the network meets even the most stringent timing requirements. Employing a sophisticated clock recovery system to ensure very accurate timing and synchronization, it links two locations with minimal latency and no reduction in voice quality.
TDM over a Packet Network
Circuit Emulation Services are delivered as packets across the Tidal 500 using the Pseudowire Emulation Edge-to-Edge (PWE3) connection protocols developed in the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). Delivering synchronous T1/E1 voice and data connection-oriented circuits over a converged IP network requires algorithms that minimize packetization delay, latency and frame delay variation (or jitter) across the network. The Tidal 500 incorporates features that enhance quality of service and network performance by optimizing packet size, clock recovery, and modulation techniques to minimize latency and jitter.
Wireless Flexibility
Delivering fractional or full T1/E1, EION’s wireless T1/E1 solutions are readily able to meet your specific network needs. Capacity can easily be increased simply by adding additional radios and Tidal 500 gateway pairs. Simultaneous T1/E1 voice and Ethernet traffic is supported via an optional Ethernet port. Whether you need to start a network from scratch or need to augment wireline links, EION’s wireless T1/E1 solution eliminates the costs and restrictions of traditional landline solutions, giving you the performance and reliability your operation demands.
