Libra MAX - SP Outdoor Subscriber Station with WiFi Hotspot

MAX-SP is a dual-radio product that integrates WiFi accessible hotspot with a WiMAX subscriber station. MAX-SP connects to a Libra MAX WiMAX network and provides triple play services such as Internet, Voice and Video to local semi-mobile Nomadic users via a WiFi 802.11 b/g wireless access point at speeds of 54 Mbps.

The low-cost Libra MAX-SS product is designed for maintenance-free, rugged operation in all environments and temperatures. To allow seamless interoperability with WIMAX Forum Certified™ base stations, EION’s rugged MAX-SS outdoor subscriber units are based on a WiMAX Forum Certified™ design and incorporate the WiMAX Forum Certified Wavesat™ Chipset.
