EION Welcomes the Ecuadorian Trade Mission to its Headquarters

OTTAWA, Canada; September 15, 2004 - Along with the Ecuadorian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Embassy of Quito, EION welcomes a delegation of Ecuador's telecom sector regulators and private companies, including Ecuador's leading telecommunications carriers.

Ecuador is an increasingly important market for Canadian firms and holds many telecom sector opportunities. Two way trade between Canada and Ecuador has increased steadily over the last five years and now tops $300 million per year.

Representatives from the following telecom companies will be visiting EION headquarters to view and discuss opportunities in Wireless and WiFi solutions for Ecuador's growing infrastructure.
