ETA Obtained by Gold Channel Partner Adino Telecom
Mumbai INDIA – August 4, 2011 – EION Inc., a Canadian manufacturer of broadband wireless products, and Adino Telecom Limited today announced that the LibraPlus 5860 broadband wireless radio with TrustLink™ technology has been approved for use in India by the WPC. EION’s Gold channel partner for India, Adino Telecom Limited, obtained the ETA approval for operation in the license free 5.8 GHz band.

LibraPlus 5860 with TrustLink technology is an advanced broadband wireless platform capable of throughput speeds of up to 60 Mbps. TrustLink technology ensures reliable and secure operation in challenging RF interference environments. The lastes version of LibraPlus 5860 firmware includes support for SNMPv2 management and a dual-firmware upgrade capability.
LibraPlus 5860 is targeted towards IP backhaul, wireless video surveillance, internet service providers, oil & gas sectors, military applications, rural broadband delivery and disaster recovery applications.
The WPC, or Wireless Planning & Coordination Wing, is the national radio regulatory authority in India. The WPC is responsible for Frequency Spectrum Management, including licensing and caters for the needs of all wireless users (Government and Private) in the country.
