EION Wireless Expands Investment in Slovenia

European Subsidiary to Advance Development and Sales of 4G, LTE and WiMAX Wireless Technologies

LJUBLJANA Slovenia and OTTAWA Canada – November 18, 2011 – EION Wireless, a Canadian manufacturer of broadband wireless products today announced that it has established a European subsidiary in Slovenia. The subsidiary will operate under the name EION Razvojni Center d.o.o. in Ljubljana, Slovenia and will be responsible for developing and testing the company’s next generation 4G wireless product platforms.

The expert team in Slovenia will drive forward the development of EION’s Star4G and StarMAX platforms and will work closely with Research and Development teams at EION’s Worldwide Headquarters in Ottawa. The new location will serve as a hub to extend the company’s sales and marketing activities in the European market. EION Wireless currently has a significant installed base of products installed in Europe, Russia and CIS countries.
